Bedgebury Centenary Plan

SBSA has just completed a 10 year Development Plan for the internationally renowned Pinetum at Bedgebury.  The Pinetum will mark its centenary in 2025, offering a timely opportunity to plan future audience focussed projects to rebalance the site from the current recreational focus towards better revealing its globally significant tree collection.

Working with Resources for Change, SBSA took a co-production approach towards creating the Development Plan, working closely with both our client, Forestry England and the Friends of Bedgebury, the volunteer support group. Through workshops, interviews and research conducted over six months, SBSA was able to create a clear programme of infrastructure, audience, educational and volunteer projects that will create a firm foundation to take the Pinetum into its next 100 years.
